A note on checkout: all three buttons open the same Zeffy form, where you choose your membership type. Zeffy keeps its service free for nonprofits by showing a suggested contribution to Zeffy at checkout. Founding Professional

Join in 2026 to become a founding member. Your support helps MICLCA get off the ground as we prepare for our inaugural conference. Founding memberships are valid through June 30, 2027.

  • Open to anyone actively involved in or interested in postsecondary learning centers in Michigan

  • Eligible to run for a MICLCA officer position on the pre-announced slate of candidates at the inaugural MICLCA conference, Monday, May 17, 2027 at Wayne State University
  • Register for the 2027 MICLCA conference at the member rate, $35 less than the nonmember fee

Membership payments are processed securely through Zeffy, a nonprofit payment platform. MICLCA does not store credit card or bank information. The membership year runs July 1 through June 30.

Paying through your institution? Zeffy's emailed receipt works for most reimbursements. If your institution needs an invoice or a W-9, email info@miclca.org.

MICLCA is the Michigan affiliate of the International College Learning Center Association (ICLCA). MICLCA board members are required to be current, active ICLCA members, and all MICLCA members are strongly encouraged to join ICLCA as well. ICLCA membership provides access to national conferences, professional certifications, the TLAR peer-reviewed journal, and a network of affiliates across the country. After You Join

What happens next

  1. Zeffy emails your receipt right away. Keep it. MICLCA is a 501(c)(3) public charity, so your dues receipt is your record for reimbursement if your institution covers professional memberships. Many do.
  2. We add you to the member roster. Membership runs July 1 through June 30 regardless of when you join, so a membership purchased today runs through June 30, 2027.
  3. Watch for event announcements. Next up is Beyond the Content, a members-only webinar on Friday, February 5, 2027. Registration is on the Events page.
  4. You can get involved. All members vote in the first officer election on May 17, 2027, and members can serve on the Professional Development and Nomination committees. Professional and Lifetime members in good standing can stand for office; under the bylaws, Student and Emeritus members cannot.
